Green is not just a color

V4DRIVE is strongly committed to ESG standards and reducing its own environmental footprint. In an independent ESG rating, we were categorised as best-in-class. Our promise for the future is to continue on this path towards an ever smaller environmental footprint. We have a clear roadmap: We will reduce carbon emissions by more than 50 percent by 2030.

Sustainability achievements

V4DRIVE's diligent efforts have been recognised in the industry: The ESG risk rating Sustainalytics has awarded V4DRIVE the title "ESG Industry Top Rated for 2024".

V4DRIVE is also among the top 5% of all companies rated by a globally recognised, cross-industry sustainability rating in 2024. In 2022, all production sites were audited according to the Intertek Workplace Conditions Standard and achieved a score of 85% ("very good").

Climate management

V4DRIVE addresses the risks and opportunities associated with climate change by considering factors such as compliance, financial risk, resilience, sales opportunities and long-term competitiveness. This approach enables V4DRIVE to align the interests of all stakeholders along the value chain, including customers, investors and the communities in which V4DRIVE operates. V4DRIVE has been implementing the TCFD guidelines since 2022. The company is continuously developing its reporting on the management of climate risks and opportunities.

V4DRIVE has committed to the Science Based Target Initiative (SBTi) and intends to submit a near-term target in line with the 1.5 degree target for official validation to reduce greenhouse gas emissions across the value chain. The total greenhouse gas emissions have been verified by an independent third party.

Acting responsibly

At V4DRIVE, people are valued and their rights are protected. The topic of due diligence and responsible sourcing is becoming increasingly important not only in society, but also at V4DRIVE. V4DRIVE works closely with its business partners to support them in their sustainable development.

A management system for human rights due diligence has been developed that fulfils both internal and external requirements in V4DRIVE's own business area and in the value chain. The company applies the precautionary principle and takes preventive measures in relation to environmental and social issues.
